Macworld San Francisco - January 2003
January 11, 2003 Earlier this week, Steve Jobs, the CEO of Apple Computer, Inc, gave the keynote speech at Macworld Expo San Francisco. Amongst his announcements there were updated versions of iPhoto, iMovie and iDVD, which have been bundled along with iTunes in a package called iLife. He announced new applications called Keynote, Safari, and Final Cut Express. The hardware announcements included a 17" PowerBook, a 12" powerBook and AirPort Extreme.

May 08, 2002 During the Keynote speech at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), Apple CEO, Steve Jobs presented an eulogy for Mac OS 9, preview the next major revision of Mac OS X, code-named Jaguar, and announced the announcement of new rack-mountable servers.

Apple Announces the eMac
April 30, 2002 Today Apple Computer, Inc announced a new all-in-one desktop line, the eMac, which is aimed specifically for the education market and is based on the original iMac range, but features a 17" CRT screen and a 700Mhz G4 processor. They also announced updated PowerBook G4 models.

icWord & icExcel Updated
April 27, 2002 Last December, I wrote a review on Panergy's icWord and icExcel, two applications that I believe EVERY Macintosh owner should have - Even those who own Microsoft Office! as they allow quick and easy access to Word, Excel and AppleWorks documents, without huge system requirements. At the time I gave them a rating of "9 out of 10" and stated that the only reason they lost a point was because they didn't have a carbonized version. Well, now they do! Panergy have just released icWord 2.1 and icExcel v1.1 with native Mac OS X support.
