Apple Stores to Merge
August 2000 Early in July, seven of Australia's major Apple Channel partners released a proposal to merge operations, to "capitalise on buoyant and increasing market share of Apple Computer in Australia". How "I Love You" virus affects Macintosh Users
June 2000 In the first week of May a new virus, "I Love You", was released that received a large amount of attention in the regular media. What most of the media didn't point out was how it only affects Windows users and that Macintosh users were largely unaffected. Feburary 2000 Optus Internet recently announced pricing for its' new Cable Internet Service, "Optus@Home". It is available for as low as $59.95 per month UNLIMITED traffic and time. This is VERY cheap for a high speed, high traffic service that is permanently connected (particularly when you factor in phone line rental, each telephone call, annual subscriptions, and then traffic allocations and speed restrictions)
